I've got some music coming out soon. The first project is a co-written album with my dear friends Conrad Sweatmand and Courtney Fox. We go by the band name Bluebloods. The music is pop in all its facets - tin-pan alley, house music, neosoul and hip hop, motown, 80's tinged progressive pop, you name it. If you're eclectically inclined I really think you'll like the whole record. We're dropping singles over the next few months and I'm confident you'll dig at least a few of the things we've got coming. You can check us out here.
I've also got another record that's almost ready to see the light of day. A few more things to touch up on it which I'll be doing over the next couple months. You can expect to see it out in spring of 2025. It features some of my closest musical friends Robert Diack and Patrick O'Reilly and Lazar Miric. I wrote this music with these folks in mind and blends my love of rhythm with my developing appreciation of more open-ended improvisational forms. The result is a kind of controlled chaos.
Lastly, I'll be dropping a proper jazz album sometime in the summer featuring one of my all time favourite saxophists - Jon Irabagon. I can't say enough about how excited I am for you to hear this one. It's a musical "story to now" biographical album blending all the various influences on my approach to jazz I've had in my fifteen years of growing in this tradition.
